Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer also a model, actor and author. Her work has received acclaim for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and raised into an creative family. When she was assistant to photographers, she turned her attention to acting and modeling. The award she received was the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films she was deemed one of the most successful women in box office history. At Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she got her name and footprints hand-engraved. Some of the films she's been in are The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw is divorced three times.
