She ranks second amongst all skiers, male and female in terms of the highest scores. She's one of the most skilled skiers in history and is the most loved skier from the United States. There have been four occasions she was named the winner of the World Cup overall competition. She is among the most popular athletes in American time. She's among only six women in history to win all five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. She won the World Cup 82 times. The best skier worldwide and also the most popular American ski racer has decided to retire following the World Championship which will take place in Sweden.
