April Bowlby

April Bowlby is an American actress and model. She's portrayed Kandi as part of her role on the CBS comedy Two and a Half Men, Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva as well as Rita Farr in Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby, an American actress who is most well-known for her portrayal of Stacy Barrett on the American comedy drama Drop Dead Diva and Kandi from the sitcom Two and a Half Men. Her modeling career started with modeling, and then she moved onto films and TV shows. Her first small-screen appearance was as an extra in the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation then single-episode roles in other series. Soon after, she was able to land the breakthrough role as Kandi on Two and a Half Men. The role she played as Stacy Barrett in the popular series Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby huge acclaim throughout the world. Bowlby played the character of Rita Farr/Elastigirl in the American web-based show Titans. A spin-off from the show Doom Patrol will see her returning to the character. Bowlby appeared in TV films such as Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. Her debut on the big screen was made with All Roads Lead Home. Then she appeared in movies like The Slammin Salmon, and From Prada To Nada. April Michelle Bowlby is an American actress, best known for her recurring role in The CBS show Two and a Half Men. Bowlby attended East Union High School in Manteca in California. Bowlby moved to Manteca when she was a child. She was a ballet student as well as French in Moorpark College before deciding to take on an acting career. Following her studies in drama under Ivana Chubb, she landed her first leading role (Kandi on Two and a Half Men) shortly after her Hollywood debut. Bowlby is well-known for her performances in a variety of TV series including CSI (as Kaitlin in 2004), CSI: NY (as Jenny Lee in 2005), Freddie: Sydney in 2005 and Stacked: Jasmine as well as How I Met Your Mother: Meg. Bowlby was Natasha recently in All Roads Lead Home, a movie from 2007 about 12-year-old Natasha who has lost her mother in a tragic car crash. Bowlby will be starring as Mia the main character in The Slammin Salmon (2008). She resides in Los Angeles. Her natural hair is red and is blue-eyed. She's single and no children.
