Luciana Paoluzzi and Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the child of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress to Benito Mussolini). There are no known siblings. Luciana was a graduate of a high school in the local area in 1955. She then was a student of naval engineering at Milan in the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana, the only female of her class was the first to graduate. Luciana began as fashion models after only two years.
