Rachelle Lefevre

Rachelle Lefevre was born in Canada. As she waited tables at the restaurant, Lefevre was spotted by the Canadian film director who later, assisted the aspiring actress land her first role as an actor. Lefevre later moved from Canada to Los Angeles where she earned the role of a regular in What About Brian (2006). Lefevre's talent for acting was discovered by a Montreal-based customer while she was working as a teenager at the restaurant. The show's regular placed Lefevre into contact with an agent for casting. This eventually led to being cast in a Canadian sitcom. Her appearances on David E. Kelley's Boston Legal (2003) led her to the lead in David E. Kelley's 2008 U.S. version of the BBC successful Life on Mars (2009). The family of her father was French but Lefevre grew in a household that spoke predominantly English She eventually made the move from Montreal to Los Angeles in 2004 due to a lack of people who spoke English in Montreal.
